Village of love places orphaned children into caring families. Funding is provided and the children stay in school. To continue their post-secondary studies, these students need a laptop. To help these young people with their education, we are asking that you donate laptops that you no longer need. 2Ascribe will refurbish them and get them to these deserving students. We have a current need for Lenovo and MacBook Pro.
Kijiji Cha Upendo (Village of Love) Children’s Project was registered in 2010 as a Community Based Organization, Registration No. 11849 under the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Services of the Government of Kenya. In 2011, Village of Love Canada was formed to raise funds from Canadian sources. Village of Love Canada is part of the CAP Network, registered with the Canada Revenue Agency, #88898 7500 RR0001.
Currently, in 2017, the project embraces 75 families, caring for over 400 children.

We’ll send you a prepaid shipping box with label and you can send the laptop directly to our IT partner, Sisnarine Technologies. They will wipe the hard drive (if you haven’t done so already) and get the laptop ready to send to one of the students. We are very pleased to be partnering with Sisnarine in this endeavour.
